...is a sacred cantata based on the seven last sayings of Christ on the cross. It is written for SATB chorus and a baritone soloist. This work was written as a Master thesis for Kevin's Masters in Music Composition. If you are looking for something that is somewhat traditional in form but pushes the envelope from a harmonic structure, this piece will do that.Sayings was originally written with a small instrumental combo for the accompaniment but is just as effective with piano alone.
