The Homestead Choral Festival is a church choir event open to anyone wanting to attend. Each year a clinician is brought in to prepare a mass choir of all the participates with a final concert in the evening. If you would like to participate download the appropriate registration form below and return it to Kevin Boesiger at Christ Community Church or you can register online. All the music you need as well as a rehearsal CD is available from Distinctive Notes for $8.00.

2010 CLINICIAN
Mr. Steve Yost

...is the Worship Arts Director at Christ Community Church in Omaha, Nebraska. He began serving at Christ Community Church in 1989. He directs the Sanctuary Choir and Orchestra in addition to leading a worship staff who serve four different venues. Prior to Omaha, he served for 10 years as Worship Pastor at the Evangelical Free Church in Kearney, Nebraska.

He received his bachelors degree in music education from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. For many years he has led worship and served on the Leadership Team for the annual Okoboji Lakes Bible and Missionary Conference. In addition, for many years he has led worship for the Christian Missionary and Alliance's National Councils.

Steve and his wife, Timaree, have four sons.

Saturday, March 13th

  • 10:00 a.m. - Workshop - "Be a Better Choir Member"
  • 12:00 p.m. - Lunch (on your own)
  • 1:30 p.m. - Choir Registration
  • 2:00 p.m. - Festival Choir Rehearsal
  • 5:00 p.m. - Rehearsal on Stage
  • 5:30 p.m. - Dinner (provided by Christ Commuity Church - FREE)
  • 7:00 p.m. - Final Concert
